  As we moved into the second week of editing, we focused on some of the smaller sounds in the film. This includes a bell ringing when the athlete is in school as a student or background music over longer scenes. We ran into an issue with the audio during this week as it was not loud enough, so we did some research to figure out how to increase the volume so that the audience could hear the script clearly. During this week we also touched up on the subtitles and the transitions in between scenes. Overall this week went much smoother than the last week of editing as it was mostly used to touch up the film.

Israel role in the movie opener was strictly editing as this was one of the most crucial stages in the assignment. Israel spent around 2-3 hours, seen in the first picture, editing and organizing the footage filmed. His editing consisted of adding music, sound effects, subtitles, transitions which really brought the movie opener together. In the second picture, you can see the editing platform Israel used as well as what he was working with in terms of what he could have changed in the film. Israel used the Verdana typeface for the film's intro and he also used Verdana and Tw Cen MT condensed for the texts later in the film. We could have used more clips to help bring the film opener together but this was a good starting point and it can definitely be improved upon.

 

  This shot is also filmed in the auditorium where I am getting treatment after getting cleated in a practice. Trejo acted as the athletic trainer and proceeded to give me something to help the pain as I just sat there telling him what happened. The challenge in this was to find a actor that didn't already have a big role in the film as we didn't want to be repetitive. We also weren't able to find an actual training room so we had to improvise using a table and the scene we already had set.

 This shot represents the main character, Brett, signing to Blackfoot University to play D1 baseball. This was a basic shot that we filmed in the auditorium because that is the known place for student athletes to sign. As Trejo filmed and I acted as the signee, we filmed the short clip that shows my high school journey coming to an end. The biggest challenge we had during this shot was coming up with dialogue that sounded normal and not forcing something that isn't realistic. We also had to deal with darker lighting which also made it a bit more challenging.
